"Green Effect" Renamed "The Happening""Green Effect" Renamed "The Happening"
Quick update: Night's upcoming film, The Green Effect, has apparently been retitled The Happening. Whether or not this was done to play down the potential environmental aspect of the film's central premise is not known at this time.
Also, word is that this will be Night's first R-rated feature; to this point, each of his last five films have been rated PG-13. Wide Awake, Night's first studio effort, remains his only publicly released film not to carry the PG-13 rating. The Happening is now in line to become the second, albeit in the other direction.
